The desk
Care & dispatch.
Written for the cloth, not for a marketplace FAQ. These are the maison rules until a live cluster is connected.
Dispatch
Pieces leave the weaving unit after a coordinator confirms the order. Complimentary dispatch in India above ₹8,000. Below that, a surface charge of ₹250. We do not promise 24-hour ship on a kadhua that is still on the loom — the listing’s days-on-loom is the honest clock.
Exchange
Seven days, unused, tagged, unwashed, unstitched blouse. Handloom is not made twice the same way; we exchange for another listing, we do not “refund to wallet” as a default. Wedding pieces booked as muhurtham are made-to-order and are not returned unless the weave is faulty.
GI & origin
If the tag says Banarasi GI or Kanchipuram GI, the cluster must be that geography. Temple green is the only colour used for this mark. We never print GI in gold. A missing origin mark means the piece stays off the market.
Blouse, fall, pico
Unstitched blouse cloth is included as listed. Fall, pico, and blouse stitch are paid desk services on the listing — they add days at the unit. We do not stitch a blouse from a photograph of a celebrity drape without a muslin fitting. Read the muslin & drape guide.
Care
Dry clean zari. Do not wring tussar. Store in muslin, not plastic. Air after a wedding. Ikat colours may smell of the dye-yard for a day; that is the yard, not a defect.
